PhD Opportunity: BREATH Programme - Horizon Europe

The BREATH doctoral programme is an interdisciplinary initiative supported by the European Union under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie - Horizon Europe programme. Led by the University of Angers, in collaboration with Le Mans University and Nantes University, this programme aims to recruit 20 PhD candidates through two calls for applications.

An Excellent Programme for Doctoral Candidates

The BREATH programme offers 40 research projects at the intersection of Health Sciences and Social Sciences & Humanities (SSH). Each PhD candidate will benefit from:

•             Tripartite supervision, combining academic and non-academic expertise,

•             Training in English,

•             International mobility, providing a dynamic and innovative research environment.

Key Information on the Call for Applications

•             Research Domain: Interdisciplinarity between SSH and Health

•             Location: Western France (Pays de la Loire Region)

•             Duration: 3 years

•             Start Date: September 2025

•             Eligibility: Master / good level in English / Mobility rule: candidates cannot have spent more than 1 year in France during the last 3 years

•             Application Deadline: March 13, 2025
